Pledge for Change: White Ribbon, Purple Purpose

You’re invited to our annual White Ribbon Event!
Join us for our 14th annual White Ribbon event, Pledge for Change: White Ribbon, Purple Purpose on Thursday March 19 at Andover Country Club.
Gather with members of your community for an inspiring evening dedicated to accountability, prevention, and the power of young people to shape safer futures. This event raises critically needed funds for our Youth Empowerment Services (YES). The Center’s YES programs work to foster healthy and safe relationships for youth, and help them thrive through meaningful connections in safer communities.
This year, guests are encouraged to wear neutral or white cocktail attire with purple accents. The event begins with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a plated dinner and time to connect with fellow guests.
You’ll hear powerful stories from students whose lives have been impacted by Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center programs and experience a collective opportunity to pledge your support for the White Ribbon Campaign alongside members of your community. The always-entertaining Tom Stebbins returns to lead our fundraising efforts with great raffle items and a paddle raise for YES programs.

The White Ribbon Pledge
Our annual White Ribbon event is part of a global human rights movement of men pledging to help end violence against women and girls. The White Ribbon Campaign is currently active in over 60 countries; in 2007, Jane Doe Inc. launched the Massachusetts White Ribbon Day campaign and joined this international human rights effort.
The White Ribbon Day Pledge:
“From this day forward, I promise to be part of the solution in ending violence against women and all gender-based violence.”
