About the Center:

Our mission is to empower individuals and engage communities to end domestic violence.

We work to fulfill our mission in four different areas:

  • free, comprehensive services that support adult and child survivors as they heal from the trauma of domestic abuse;
  • programs in schools that teach students how to lead conversations about healthy relationships, recognize signs of an abusive relationship, and become empowered to make positive and healthy decisions;
  • tools and strategies to reduce domestic violence homicides;
  • a 40-week program certified by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health for people who use violence in an intimate relationship.

Since 1982, the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center has been helping survivors of domestic violence to find safety and healing and start new beginnings.

Charitable support funds a significant portion of our operating budget, which allows us to provide local services to survivors free of charge. Now, with the shifting nature of state and federal funds, every individual gift from donors matters more than ever.

Your financial support is vital to ensure that we continue to help survivors regain safety, well-being and self-sufficiency.
